Japan Communications integrated SoliCall in its VoIP network
 |  |  14 Jun 2012

SoliCall, provider of network echo cancellation, noise reduction, and voice quality improvement products, has said on Wednesday that Japan Communications has integrated SoliCall’s PBXMate for improving audio quality in its VoIP Network.

Japan Communications Inc (JCI) is one of the major data MVNOs in Japan, offering 3G cellular wireless data communication services in Japan and the US. One of its value adds is VoIP over 3G combined with unique pricing structure and imported smartphone devices. JCI is using a home grown VoIP application focused on smaller bandwidth requirements. It runs on mobile devices and PCs.

SoliCall has developed products for audio quality improvement that can be used both for server side/network filtering and client side filtering. SoliCall offers both OEM products and stand alone plug and play products.

“We’re very pleased with SoliCall’s PBXMate noise and echo cancelling technologies that suites for mobile data communications,” said Yasushi Kudo, Senior VP for Japan Communications Inc. “Latency and jitter in the wireless world is very unstable compared to traditional wireline and we’ve been looking for solutions that actually work under such difficult conditions across the globe. SoliCall was the only solution that met our criteria,” Kudo noted.

“We are happy that JCI chose us as the best provider of audio quality for their VoIP network,” said Moses Benjamin, Director of Marketing for SoliCall. “SoliCall’s PBXMate helps JCI achieve high audio quality on all the devices (mobile & desktop) without increasing their CPU load and without the need to develop a specific solution for each device,” he said. “We can clearly see how our PBXMate product is dramatically boosting the toolset that network operators have to solve audio quality problems,” Benjamin concluded.
