Apple to reduce price of iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S in India-Report

Apple is leaving no stone unturned, for success of its much awaited phone “iPhone 5”, and for this the company is re-launching its iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S at lesser cost.

According to reports Apple, Apple will bring down the price of these models by Rs. 2000. The present cost of an 8 GB iPhone 4 is Rs. 28,300 and is expected to be available on new rate of Rs. 26,500, whereas the present cost of a 16GB iPhone 4S is Rs. 41,500 which now is expected on a new price of Rs. 38,500.

Retail stores and online portals have already started receiving queries from customers about these re-launched models. People are curious to know by when the models will be available.
 
“All iPhones can’t be selling at the same price and this is to clear the inventory ahead of the iPhone 5 launch. We expect the iPhone 5 to be introduced by the last week of October in India,” The Hindu has quoted Anshul Gupta, principal research analyst at Gartner as saying.
