TTSL moves TDSAT against Vodafone over SMS termination fee

Tata Teleservices Ltd. (TTSL) has moved the tribunal TDSAT against Vodafone over latter’s demand for Rs 188 crore as SMS termination fee.
 
Vodafone had threatened TTSL through a termination notice that it would disconnect latter’s SMSes from its network if the amount is not paid by November 17.
 
The tribunal has put up the matter for hearing on November after both the parties agreed to it.
 
Vodafone has also assured the tribunal that it would not stop interconnection of TTSL SMSes from its network till the next date of hearing.
 
Vodafone is demanding 10 paise per SMS from April 2011 as termination fee from TTSL.
