Accenture plans to increase Indian headcount by 13,000 within a year

Global IT major Accenture expects to increase its India manpower to 50,000, from the present 37,000, within a year.

Globally, the company plans to make 60,000 gross additions to its workforce by August.

The Chairman and CEO of Accenture Mr William D Green said, "We had spent $780 million globally to train people and are not facing talent woes...we are a big human capital company and all we need is good raw material."
