Telenity launches version 2.0 of Canvas EPFS enterprise resource tracking service

Telenity, a leading provider of innovative services and solutions for communications networks, on Monday launched version 2.0 of its Canvas EPFS, Enterprise Resource Tracking Service.
 
Canvas EPFS lets SMBs and enterprises to take control of their fleet and field employees and maximize the value of their resources. Canvas EPFS allows its customers to track, communicate with and manage all their assets, across all device types, in real-time, anywhere. The product is redesigned from ground up to support the most advanced functionality set in asset tracking.
 
Telenity’s Canvas EPFS 2.0 enables enterprises and SMBs to locate, monitor and manage all their assets, including not only employees but vehicles as well, in a secure way using a simple Web browser without compromising user privacy and network security. Through a unified user interface, Canvas EPFS 2.0 customers can now easily add the vehicle type, varying from trucks to bicycles, to the system and track their whereabouts. The service uses both GPS and network-provided location data for positioning different kinds of assets. Canvas EPFS also allows instantaneous messaging between employees and managers.

In addition to network based tracking, with added support for GPS positioning, Canvas EPFS allows devices with GPS chips to be located and tracked. Telenity offers a number of GPS devices that can be used with Canvas EPFS 2.0. These devices offer many powerful features, including GPS/AGPS positioning, built-in rechargeable batteries, support for various sensors; including temperature, humidity, and motion, support for reading data from vehicles’ sensors through OBDII connection, such as fuel level, coolant temperature, speedometer, engine revision, etc.
 
Canvas EPFS 2.0 offers an enhanced user interface that is designed for speed and efficiency. It supports many powerful features, such as multiple map partner support, zoom, pan, map caching, satellite imagery, routing, per asset location history, periodic reporting, points of interest (PoI) support, radius and geo-fence alerts/rules, messaging, and task management.
