Datawind launches two models of Ubislate 7C+ based on Aakash 3 specifications

The makers of Aakash tablet Datawind has commercially launched UbiSlate 7C+ for Rs 4,999 and Rs. 5,999.  It is based on the recommended specifications submitted for Aakash3.

It comes with cortex A81GHz and 512MB Ram with 4GB memory. It has multi-touch capacitive screen. Other features include G Sensor and WiFi & GPRS SIM phone functionality.

The UbiSlate 7C+ comes in another model as well that supports Wi-Fi and Edge and is priced for Rs 5,999. However, this model is currently out of stock on its official website.

According to its Datawind,  Aakash 3 is expected to be launched in mid-2013. The specifications are expected to be finalized by the NMEICT (National Mission for Education through Information Communication Technology) before end of March 2013. DataWind recommends that Aakash 3 also include an embedded cellular modem, allowing it to take a regular SIM and provide anytime/anywhere internet connectivity.

Dear friends, Datawind is simply cheating every body. I have paid 1 year ago still not delivered. Do not believe them any more.
