Chinese handset maker Huawei has launched two smartphones-Ascend G510 and Ascend Y300 for Indian customers. Both run on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and are priced at Rs 10,990 and Rs. 7,980 respectively.

Ascend G510 comes with a 4.5-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 480x854 pixels and colour depth of 16M. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm ARM Cortex-A5, dual-core processor along wtih 512MB of RAM. It has an internal storage capacity of 1GB that can be expanded by up to 32GB via microSD card.

Other features include a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front shooter. It hasa 1700 mAh battery, which offers 5 hours of talk time and 320 hours of standby time. As for connectivity it hhas Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth and DLNA options.

The Huawei Ascend Y300, is slightly cheaper It comes with a 4-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels and colour depth of 16M. It is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm ARM Cortex-A5, dual-core processor and has 512MB of RAM. It has an internal storage capacity of 1GB that can be expanded by up to 32GB via microSD card. Priced at Rs. 7,980, the smartphone sports a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front shooter. It includes a 1730 mAh battery, promising 5 hours of talk time and 320 hours of standby time.
