Toshiba launches three 10.1- inch Android tablets at $299, $499, and $599

Toshiba has added three new Android 10.1-inch tablets to its Excite line up- Excite Pure, Excite Pro and Excite Write. The three tablets have price tags of $299, $499, and $599, respectively.  All three tablet models will be available beginning on June 25, 2013.

The customers will have the option of an optional keyboard dock that the company is offering. The key board will support the three tablets.

Excite Pure has a 1280x800 resolution display and runs on Android 4.2.2. It is powered by Nvidia Tegra 3 processor. It sports a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera. It does not have a rear camera. It comes with 16GB of storage which can be expanded through a microSD card slot. As far as the connectivity is concerned it has Micro-HDMI and Micro-USB.

With no different looks from the other two, the Excite Pro runs on Android Jelly Bean and powered by Nvidia's new Tegra 4 processor. The device has a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 2560x1600.  It comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera and 1.3-megapixel. It comes in a 32GB storage variant and sports dual Harman Kardon speakers. The tablet has Micro-HDMI, Micro-USB, and microSD ports.It is likely to give a tough competition to ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity tablet which was launched on Monday.

The Excite Write also have the similar technical specifications. It allows the user to  'write' with the Wacom digitizer which comes with the tablet. For this specific feature it can bracketed with Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.
