Keeping its promise to launch one smartphone every week, Micromax, the No. 3 handset maker has quietly launched Micromax Canvas Fun A76 which is available online.

E-commerce portal snapdeal.com is offering the device at Rs 8499. Just a day before Micromax launched Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 A240 at Rs 19,990. This phone is also available on snapdea.com.

Given the popularity of the Micromax Canvas series smartphones, these two devices can be instant hit in the Indian market. It may be recalled that some of Canvas phones went out of stock due to huge demands in the recent past.3

The Dual-SIM Micromax Canvas Fun A76 runs on the Android V4.2 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Processor. It features 5-inch Capacitive touchscreen which provides an FWVGA resolution. The device sports a 5MP rear megapixel camera along with a 0.3 MP front camera. It has  Blutooth, Wi-Fi, GPS as connectivity options.

Just a day before Micromax launched dual-SIM Canvas Doodle 2 A240 appeared online.

Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The 5.7-inch display of the device features resolution of 720x1280 pixels.

It comes with a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has   12GB of internal storage and packs in a 2600mAh battery which the company claims provides up to 8 hours of talk time.

It packs in 4 GB Internal Memory expandable up to 32 GB and 512 MB RAM
