Airtel launches online video contest for calling card NRI users in US

Recently launched calling card service for NRIs in the US by Bharti Airtel known as Airtel Call Home is running an online video contest named, ‘It Happens Only in India.’

 

The contest in association with Rediff.com’s video sharing site, RediffiShare invites participants to upload videos that symbolizes or portray something uniquely Indian. Most rated videos will win weekly prizes including a bumper prize which will be a return ticket to India.

 

Arun Bhardwaj, head, calling card services, Bharti Airtel said that the contest has been conceptualized by digital agency Webchutney. He further stated that since Airtel Call Home service is being distributed online and the customers are Internet savvy therefore this service has been launched only on the internet.
