5-incher Sony Xperia C with MediaTek quad-core processor up for grab online at Rs. 20,490

Sony which is betting on Xperia series of smartphone to expand its market share is all set to launch Xperia C. Though there is no word from the company about its official launch, the device is available online for Rs 20,490. 
 
E-commerce portal saholic.com is offering the device at Rs 20,490. Another online retailer flikart.com has also started its pre-order. The Xperia C which was globally launched early this year will hit the The Xperia C was officially unveiled earlier this year at the Mobile Asia Expo will be available from the 2nd week of this month. 
 
The dual-SIM device features 5-inch TFT LCD qHD (540x960 pixel) display runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It is powered by quad-core MediaTek MTK6589 processor. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It packs in a 2330mAh battery, which the company claims can give up to 10 hours of talk time and up to 588 hours of standby time.
 
The Xperia C is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera with Exmor R sensor and a 0.3-megapixel front camera. It has 3G, Wi-Fi, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. It will be available in White, Black and Purple colours. 
 
It also come with motion-gaming, FM radio with RDS, Walkman app and 'screen mirroring'. 
 
Last month Sony which is trying to compete with highly popular Samsung galaxy series phones launched its water resistant Xperia Z1 in India at Rs 44,990.
