Bharti Airtel subsidiary Nxtra Data appoints Neil Pollock as CEO

Nxtra Data Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bharti Airtel, announced the appointment of Neil Pollock as its CEO.

In this new role, Neil will be responsible for developing Nxtra’s capacity and capability across geographies in order to build scale and develop products to meet customer requirements.

Nxtra Data Limited will provide a wide array of integrated managed services and data centre services including Managed back-up, Security, Virtual Compute and Infrastructure as-a-Service (IaaS) Cloud to small and large enterprises and government sector.

Neil has over 20 years of industry experience along with enterprise services insight. His recent assignment at Bharti Airtel was as Head - Integrated Managed Services. Prior to this, Neil was Head of Strategy & Productivity at Singtel Optus (Australia) and was responsible for business that included integrated communication services for enterprise, government and wholesale customers.

The Shareholders of Bharti Airtel had recently approved the transfer of Data Centre and Managed Services business to Nxtra Data Limited via slump sale.
