Dual-SIM, Android Micromax Canvas Magnus with 12 MP camera up for grab online at Rs. 14,999

Micromax has made it a habit to surprise its fans. At a time when handset buyers in India are talking about high end BlackBerry Z30 and Nokia Lumia 1520 smartphones, it is ready with another mid-range smartphone, called the Canvas Magnus.
 
Though the device is yet to be officially launched, it is available on e-commerce portal Snapdeal at for Rs. 14,999. Micromax Canvas series smartphones have got excellent reviews and were received well by the masses so much so that some its Canvas devices went out of stocks or even sold at higher prices at some stores.
 
Micromax has already launched  the  Canvas HD, Canvas 4, Canvas 2, Canvas 2 plus, Canvas Lite, Canvas Music, Canvas 3D, Canvas Doodle and Canvas Doodle 2.
 
The Micromax Canvas Magnus features a 5-inch IPS display with a 720x1280 pixels resolution and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor (unspecified chipset) along with 1GB of RAM. 
 
The dual-SIM device supports GSM+GSM. It sports a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and full-HD video recording support and a 2-megapixel front camera. It comes with a 2000mAh battery and has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ AGPS, and 3G as connectivity options. It has 4GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
 
It is also rumoured that it will soon launch Canvas Turbo, which will have a 5-inch full-HD display, 13-megapixel camera accompanied by an LED flash. It is expected to have and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. the specification of this smartphone were leaked earlier this month.
