Aircel planning to launch 4G services in AP, LTE 4G trials on

Telecom service provider Aircel is planning to launch 4G service in Andhra Pradesh and it has already started Long-Term Evolution (4G) trials in the state.
 
But the commercial launch of $G service may take some time as the company lacks required eco-system which also includes the 4G-enabled mobile phones, revealed Deepinder Tiwana, AP Circle Business Head of Aircel while speaking to the media persons. .
 
Aircel along with RCom are the only two cellular service providers to have bagged 4G licence for the state.
 
The company is betting on the steep rise in the data services in AP. Deepinder Tiwana said that about 44 per cent of Aircel’s 1.85 million subscribers in AP use data services which was a major catalyst in doubling its revenues in 2013.
