MongoDB has entered into a distribution agreement with Ingram Micro India the Leader in Information Technology Distribution. Under this agreement, MongoDB will extend distribution of its leading NoSQL database by leveraging Ingram Micro’s expertise and extensive relationships with VARs, systems integrators and service providers throughout India.

Currently the agreement is focused on the India territory with the opportunity to expand across Southeast Asia and other territories.

“MongoDB continues to gain momentum in the enterprise segment in India,” said Kamal Brar, Vice President APAC, MongoDB. “Our partnership with Ingram Micro will allow us to fulfill the growing demand for MongoDB solutions and provide high-touch, localized service to customers across India. We look forward to working with Ingram Micro as our National Distributor and leveraging their expertise in APACs widespread market.”

Ingram Micro is the only global, broad-based IT distributor in Asia, with a customer base of more than 800 enterprise resellers in India, covering both business-to-business and business-to-consumer operations.
