Acer India, the leading PC vendor in the country on Thursday launched their new 8-inch ICONIA W4 tablet for the Indian consumers.

The 32GB and 64GB versions of ICONIA W4 are priced at Rs.24999 and Rs.26999 respectively. ICONIA W4 is available at Croma and Reliance Digital outlets across the country. Consumers can also purchase the tablet online at Flipkart.

The company said that the device has been launched keeping in view of increasing use of the internet coupled with the proliferation of the web applications which has resulted in the huge demand for tablets.

The Iconia W4 is also equipped with Windows 8.1 and the 4th Generation Intel Atom processor.  The compact device weighs only 415 grams and measures 10.75 mm (0.42 inches) thin.

The Iconia W4 supports a 16:10 ratio with 1280 x 800 pixel resolutions, five-finger multi-touch, providing consumers with an enjoyable tablet experience with apps, videos and games. It sports a 2MP 1080P front camera and a 5 MP rear camera.

It is powered by the 4th Generation Intel Atom 1.8 GHz Quad-core processor and comes with either 32GB or 64GB(2) of internal storage, and supports an additional 32GB(2) of storage capacity via the microSD.

The stylish 5.3 mm (0.21 inches) thin silver keyboard offers Bluetooth® 3.0 connectivity and is rechargeable via Micro USB.

Pre-loaded with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013, it allows users to create and edit Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents virtually anywhere, while an optional full-sized keyboard enables more productive typing on the go.

Other W4 accessories include the Acer Keyboard Cover, protection film, responsive passive stylus, power bank, adaptor kit with bag, and Micro USB cable.
