Sony launches Xperia E1and Xperia T2 Ultra phablet with single and dual-SIM variants

The Japanese handset giant Sony which is betting on its Xperia series of smartphones for revenue growth and compete with Samsung and Apple, has launched Xperia E1 and  Xperia T2 Ultra phablet, both available in single as well as dual-SIM variants. The company has not revealed the price and the availability of the devices. 
 
Sony Xperia T2 Ultra phablet, according to the company is aimed at emerging markets like China, Middle East, Africa and the Asia Pacific.
 
The Sony Xperia E1 smartphone features a 4-inch WVGA display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels and a 233ppi pixel density and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8210 processor with 512MB of RAM.
 
 The Xperia E1 has 4GB inbuilt storage. However there is no detail of  expandable storage support and the camera. The device comes with a 1700mAh battery. It has  3G connectivity support. It will be available in Black, Purple and White.
 
The company claims that Xperia E1 can produce up to 100Db music through loudspeakers. The prospective buyers are offered a promotional 30 day free pass for company's Entertainment Network music streaming service.
 
The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box and features a 6-inch HD TRILUMINOS display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 with a resolution of 720x1080 pixels. It is powered by a quad-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon processor with 1GB of RAM.
 
Other features include 8GB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card,  a 13-megapixel rear camera with Exmor RS for mobile and a 1.1-megapixel front-facing camera with an Exmor R sensor. The Xperia T2 Ultra comes with a large 3000mAh battery with battery STAMINA Mode.
 
Calum MacDougall, Director of Xperia Marketing at Sony Mobile Communications, said, "Xperia T2 Ultra will lead the category through its combination of advanced display and camera technologies, it will bring large-screen entertainment in an amazingly portable form factor and it will do it all whilst providing incredible value for money.”

Sony Xperia T2 Ultra key features:-

•  6-inch HD TRILUMINOS display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 and offers a resolution of 720x1080 pixels.
•  Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
•  quad-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon processor.
•  1GB RAM.
•  internal memory of 8GB which can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
•  13-megapixel rear camera with Exmor RS for mobile and also houses a 1.1-megapixel front camera with an Exmor R sensor.
