Expanding its Ascend Android smartphone series, Huawei has launched the new budget smartphone, Ascend Y 530 for the European market at 149 Euros.
 
The Huawei Ascend Y530 runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Huawei's Emotion UI. It features a 4.5-inch TFT LCD display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor with 512 MB RAM.
 
The Ascend Y530 sports a 5 megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and a VGA front facing camera. It includes 4 GB of inbuilt storage and also support microSD card for expanding memory. The Ascend Y530 weighs 145 grams and measures 132.5 x 67 x 9.3mm in height, width and depth. It offers a 1750 mAh Battery ensuring long battery life.
 
The device will be initially available in Germany starting March. The smartphone will be available in four versions, Black and Grey; Black and Red; Black and Yellow, and lastly White and Grey.
