Nokia unveils its first Android smartphone series Nokia x, X+ and XL at MWC 2014

Finnish Giant Nokia who slowly changing their gears and trying to stand on current expectations by surprising everyone at MWC 2014 by unveiling their three smartphones the Nokia X, X+ and XL based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) or new Nokia X software platform that can run Android apps and it is powered by Microsoft and Nokia services. It is not complete Android phones and instead run a forked variant of Android, similar to the way Amazon does for its Kindle Fire lineup.

Nokia x and Nokia X+

Both the Nokia X and Nokia X+ comes with 4-inch displays. It is powered by 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. Both have 4GB internal memory which can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Both phones have a 3-megapixel rear camera, but no front camera. And both of them also powered by a 1500mAh battery. And with almost every similar feature both the phones differentiate with each other because the Nokia X has 512MB RAM whereas Nokia X+ has 768MB RAM.

The Nokia X will priced at 89 euros and in INR Rs. 7,500 approximately and on the other hand Nokia X+ will priced at 99 euros and in INR Rs. 8,400 approximately

Nokia XL

On the other hand Nokia XL comes with a 5-inch display. It is powered by 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. Both have 4GB internal memory which can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Nokia XL has 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and flash and 2-megapixel front camera. It is powered by a 2000mAh battery, Nokia XL has 768MB RAM.

The Nokia XL will priced at 109 euros and in INR Rs. 9,300 approximately.

All three smartphones come with free access to Here Maps, with offline maps and integrated turn-by-turn navigation, and Nokia MixRadio for free music streaming and downloadable playlists. And also comes with pre-installed, including BBM, Plants vs Zombies 2, Viber, Vine and Twitter.

Company also offered free cloud storage from Microsoft's OneDrive.

Both the Nokia X and Nokia X+ will be available in black, white, cyan, yellow, bright green and bright red whereas Nokia XL will be available in orange, yellow, black, white.
