World's thinnest smartphone with octa core processor Gionee Elife S5.5 unveiled at MWC 2014

In the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2014) in Barcelona, Spain. Chinese handset maker Gionee has launched the Elife S5.5 smartphone. Company claims it is the slimmest Android smartphone in the world, before that Vivo X3 is 5.7mm and now Gionee Elife S5.5 is 5.5mm. The smartphone will come to India in March 2014 or in first week of April 2014.

Gionee Elife S5.5 smartphone comes with 5-inch display and runs on Android based Amigo OS. It is powered by 1.7GHz true octa-core processor with 2GB RAM.

Gionee Elife S5.5 has 13-megapixel rear camera with the world's first 95 degree ultra-wide angle and 5-megapixel front camera. It has 2,300mAh battery.

Gionee Elife S5.5 smartphone is priced at 2299 RMB ($370) and in INR Rs. 23,000 approximately. It is available for pre-order in China and it will be launched in 40 more countries.

The Gionee Elife S5.5 will be available in Black, White, Blue, Pink, and Purple.
