Vodafone launches 3G roaming services and multiple packages in Kerala

Vodafone India, on Friday announced that 3G roaming services will be offered to its customers in Kerala circle with immediate effect. This announcement comes post the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) ruling last week that 3G intra-circle (ICR) roaming services will be available once again in the circles.
 
In addition to offering customers (both pre and post paid) 3G roaming facilities, Vodafone Kerala is also offering multiple packages to suit customer requirements. The packages include: Monthly rental of Rs 100 for 300 MB, Rs 250 for 1 GB, Rs 450 for 2 GB, Rs 750 for 4 GB, Rs 850 for 5 GB and Rs 1599 for 12 GB. Prepaid plans start from Rs 26 for 100 MB with a validity of 3 days, going upto Rs 1505 for 10 GB with a validity of 30 days from purchase.

Vodafone Kerala customers can now avail of faster speeds and data browsing experience. We are confident that this move will facilitate in quicker adoption, better usage and a high speed internet experience on the go”, said S Murali, Business Head – Kerala, Vodafone India.

As part of its strategy to democratize data, Vodafone India has been engaging with customers to use mobile internet, and educating current and potential users about how internet can add significant value to them.
 
Vodafone India has also built content partnerships, simplified pricing, conducted retailer education programmes apart from offering a wide choice of packages to customers, basis their interests and consumption patterns.
