Micromax Canvas Gold A300 listed online for Rs 23999: powered with octa-core CPU, Android KitKat OS

Micromax has introduced the Canvas Gold A300 Android 4.4.2 KitKat based smartphone in India for Rs. 23,999. It is currently listed on the company’s official website but no official announcement has yet been made. However, it is currently listed on online retailer Infibeam for Rs. 23,999 with delivery time of 5-6 days.

Canvas Gold A300 sports a 5.5 inch full-HD display and is powered with 2 GHz octa-core processor with 2GB RAM. It comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage. It comes with 16 megapixel rear autofocus camera with flash and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera. For connectivity it includes GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0.

For a never ending experience it comes with a 2300 mAh Li-Po battery, which is rated to deliver 8 hours of talk time and 210 hours of standby time.

Micromax Canvas Gold A300 will be the fourth handset after the Micromax Canvas Entice, Canvas Engage and the recently launched Unite 2 to run on the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. With these specifications and hardware it will be a good competition to most of the mid-range Android smartphones.
