HTC launches mid-range Desire 516 smartphone with 5 inch display for Rs 14200

HTC, on Wednesday has unveiled the new HTC Desire 516 dual sim mid-range Android smartphone for Rs. 14,200 in the Indian market. It has a sophisticated design with a powerful Quad-core processor, HTC BlinkFeed and Video Highlights.
 
HTC Desire 516 has a 5 inch qHD display and is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor and 1GB RAM. It has a 5 megapixels rear camera with fixed focus and 720 pixels HD video recording. It also comes with a 2 megapixels front camera for video calling. With the HTC Desire 516 dual sim, your pictures and video clips can be automatically turned into a professional-looking show reel of your best moments.
 
It comes with 4GB of internal storage and is expandable up to 32 GB using microSD card space. For power performance it comes with a 1950 mAh removable battery with talk time of up to 9 hours on 3G and standby time of up to 220 hours on 3G. For connectivity it includes 2G, 3G, stereo audio jack, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi.

Desire 516 dual SIM runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS with HTC BlinkFeed. BlinkFeed home screen gives the opportunity to join the millions of HTC users who have customised their streams to deliver more relevant, up-to-the-minute news and social updates direct to their home screens.
 
With the Offline Reading mode, it’s now possible to view articles from your personal feed, drawn from more than 20,000 articles a day from the world’s leading media companies, making it an ideal option for those on a limited data plan.
 
The new HTC Desire 516 dual sim will be available in Dark Gray and Pearl White at all major retailers in India from end of June at the best buy price of Rs. 14,200.
