Lava has announced the launch of the Magnum X604, its first 6-inch smartphone phablet in India for Rs. 11,999. It has a 6 inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. With this the race for the mid-range smartphone Phablet is heated up and it will be interesting to see the acceptance of this device.
 
Magnum X604 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1 GB RAM. It sports an 8 megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor and a 2 megapixel front camera. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. The Lava Magnum X604 has an internal storage space of 8 GB; its memory can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.
 
The device is 8.9 mm thick and weighs 207 grams. It comes packed with a 2800 mAh battery that is claimed to give up to 8 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time.
 
For connectivity it includes options like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE and GPRS. It offers dual SIM (3G+2G) capabilities and comes in white and black colours.
