Oplus launches XonPhone 5 Android KitKat smartphone in India for Rs 7999

Oplus, on Thursday launched the XonPhone 5 smartphone in India for Rs. 7,999 exclusively on e-commerce site Snapdeal.com. The Oplus XonPhone 5 runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS and offers dual-SIM support.
 
"We are extremely elated to be launching the XonPhone 5, an innovative smartphone with ultimate features ensuring a unique user experience. Our association with India's largest marketplace, Snapdeal.com has yielded us great results for our tablet and we are affirmative that our smartphone will also witness great acceptance from the users", said Soumitra Gupta, CEO, Oplus.
 
It features 5inch HD IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution with pixel density of 320ppi. It is powered with 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor with 1GB of RAM. The XonPhone 5 sports an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2 megapixel front camera.
 
It comes with 16 GB inbuilt storage and can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. For connectivity, it includes: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, AGPS, EDGE, GPRS and 3G. It is powered with a 2000 mAh battery. It measures 143 x 71.5 x 7.8mm and weighs 170 grams. It is currently available in Gold, Grey and Sliver colours.
