Motorola Moto G (Gen 2), Moto X (Gen 2) smartphones and Moto 360 Android Wear smartwatch launches globally

Motorola has launched the Moto 360 Android Wear smartwatch. The Moto 360 will be available from Friday in black leather and limited edition gray leather with suede finish in the US, starting at 12:00pm EST for motorola.com, Google Play (US), and through Best Buy stores and BestBuy.com. The smartwatch will be available in the Indian market later this month. While the company hasn't yet provided India pricing details, though the launch price in the US is $249 (Rs 15,000 approximately).

Motorola Moto 360 Android Wear smartwatch

Motorola Moto 360 Android Wear smartwatch comes with 1.56-inch backlit LCD display with 320x290p resolution with option of a light or dark stainless steel case, and grey or black Horween leather band, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS, powered by a TI OMAP 3 processor with 512MB RAM.

Motorola Moto 360 Android Wear smartwatch also supports wireless charging, and comes with a charging dock. Its inbuilt storage is 4GB.

For connectivity options Moto 360 Android Wear smartwatch has Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy connectivity with 320 mAh battery.

Motorola Moto 360 Android Wear smartwatch has pedometer, a optical heart rate monitor (PPG) with IP67 rating, making it water-resistant as well.

Motorola Moto 360 Android Wear smartwatch diameter is 46mm, 11.5mm thick and weighs 49 grams with the leather strap. It also has a single physical button, a vibration motor, and dual microphones as well.

                                                    

Motorola Moto G (Gen 2) smartphone

Motorola Moto G (Gen 2) smartphone comes with 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixel) display. It runs on Android KitKat 4.4 OS and powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8226) processor with 1GB RAM.

Motorola Moto G (Gen 2) smartphone also has 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera. It is available in 2 variants 8GB and 16GB inbuilt storage which can be expandable through microSD card with no specified card capacity from Motorola and water-resistant coating as well.

Motorola Moto G (Gen 2) smartphone has dual front speakers, above and below the display, apart from 2 mics.

For connectivity options smartphone has 3G, Wi-Fi 80211.ac, Bluetooth 4.0LE, Micro-USB, and 3.5mm audio jack with 2070 mAh battery.

Motorola Moto G (Gen 2) smartphone measures 141.5x70.7x10.99mm and weighs 149 grams.

Motorola Moto G (Gen 2) smartphone will be available on online e-commerce portal Flipkart for Rs. 12,999 for 16GB variant.

                                                                

Motorola Moto X (Gen 2) smartphone

Motorola Moto X (Gen 2) smartphone comes with 5.2-inch (1080x1920 pixel) OLED display with a pixel density of 423 ppi, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and metal frame as well. It runs on Android KitKat 4.4 OS, powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974-AC) processor with 2GB RAM.

Motorola Moto X (Gen 2) smartphone also has 13-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.25 lens with 4K video recording and dual-LED ring flash, 2-megapixel front camera with 1080p video recording. It is available in 2 variants 16GB and 32GB inbuilt storage with no expandability through microSD card and water-resistant coating as well.

Motorola Moto X (Gen 2) smartphone has dual front speakers, above and below the display.

For connectivity options smartphone has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 80211.ac, Bluetooth 4.0LE, Micro-USB, and 3.5mm audio jack with 2300 mAh battery.

Motorola Moto X (Gen 2) smartphone measures 140.8x72.4x9.97mm and weighs 144 grams.

The company hasn't yet provided India pricing details of Motorola Moto X (Gen 2) smartphone, though the price in the US is $499.99 (Rs 30,200 approximately).
