Entry-level Lava Iris 465 with 21 Indian Languages support launches for Rs 4499

Lava Mobiles has launched the Iris 465 smartphone for Rs. 4,499. The smartphone is currently listed on the company's site. However, there is no official announcement of it. It is expected to be announced in the coming days. The device measures 134.4x68x10 mm and weighs 146 gm. It is listed in Black colour.
 
Lava Iris 465 is a dual-SIM device and comes with support for 21 Indian languages and runs Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. It features a 4.5 inch FWVGA TFT display with resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. The device is powered by 1.3GHz dual-core processor with 512MB RAM. The device comes with 4GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 32GB using microSD card.
 
Lava Iris 465 sports a 3.2 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera. The rear camera features scene detection, face recognition, panorama, geo-tagging, best shot, smile shot, and HDR options.
 
For connectivity Lava Iris 465 offers - 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. The smartphone is power backed by a 1750 mAh battery that is quite good for such smartphone.
 
The device is expected to give direct competition to the newly launched Spice Stellar 431.
