Lenovo launches low budget A7000 4G/LTE smartphone in India for Rs 8999

Chinese manufacturer Lenovo, on Tuesday launched the much-anticipated A7000 smartphone in India exclusively with Flipkart for Rs. 8,999. Its registrations started Tuesday 7th April at 2PM and the first sale is scheduled for 15th April, 2015. The device is 7.9 mm thin and weighs 140 grams.

Lenovo A 7000 is a dual-SIM smartphone and sports a 5.5 inch HD IPS Capacitive touchscreen display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The device is powered by a 64-Bit 1.5GHz True octa-core processor and 2GB RAM and runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. It is among the best 4G/LTE smartphone in this price range. The A7000 smartphone is also the world’s first smartphone featuring all-new Dolby Atmos technology providing moving audio technology for an unparalleled acoustic experience.
 
A 7000 comes with an 8 megapixels rear camera with Sony IMX219 sensor and also houses a 5 megapixels front camera. Camera features includes - HDR, Guidelines, Geo Tagging, Triaxial levelling, Auto beautification, 5 snap modes and Operating System full HD video recording. A 7000 also supports Gravitation, Proximity, Light, E-Compass, Orientation, Game rotation sensors. The device comes in-built with 8 GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card.
 
Lenovo A7000 is powered by a removable 2900 mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 39 hours (2G) and up to 16 hours (3G) talk time, while the stand by time is up to 264 hours both on 2G and 3G. For connectivity, it includes - GPRS, EDGE, HSPA+, LTE, LTE Cat 4 150Mbps (DL) / 50Mpbs (UL), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Radio, 2G, 3G and 4G with TDD 2300MHz (Band 40), FDD 1800MHz (Band 3).
