Karbonn launches Aura smartphone in India with quad core processor for Rs 4990

Karbonn on Wednesday launched the entry-level budget smartphone Aura in India for Rs. 4,990. The device features a 5 inch IPS-LCD display that offers a consistent and accurate colour from all viewing angles. Aura’s display is multi touch capacitive screen and the pinch zoom allows to zoom the image in just one pinch. The icons, pictures are placed on the screen in a way that gives a real-life experience.

Karbonn Aura is powered with 1.2 GHz Quad core processor with 512 MB RAM and 8GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card.  Aura runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

The device features a 5 megapixels rear camera and a 2 megapixels front camera which enables a high quality video mode for smooth video calling. Aura also comes with G- sensor which senses the tilting direction of the phone and auto rotates itself. It can also be synced to Outlook emails and comes with a Voice Search option.

With superfast 3G experience powered Wi-Fi, the handset delivers a lag free browsing experience be it video streaming or social media and the 2000 mAh battery keeps the handset charged for long duration.
