Micromax, on Wednesday launched the new smartphones under its Canvas series, Canvas Mega (E353) and Canvas Mega 4G (Q417) at Rs. 7,999 and Rs. 10,999 respectively. Micromax Canvas Mega will be available to buy since its launch, however, there is no word when the Canvas Mega 4G will go on sale.

Micromax Canvas Mega comes with dual-SIM support and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. It features a 5.5 inch HD IPS display with 720x1280 pixels resolution and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for screen protection. It is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core processor MediaTek (MT6592M) with 1GB RAM. The devicer comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage that is further expandable up to 32GB using microSD card. It sports a 13 megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash and also houses a 5 megapixel front camera. For connectivity, Canvas Mega includes - 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. The smartphone packs a 2820 mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 10 hours of talk time and up to 600 hours of standby time. The device measures 154x78.7x8.9mm and will be available in Black colour. It also includes accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.

Micromax Canvas Mega 4G is a dual-SIM smartphone and features a 5.5 inch HD IPS display with 720x1280 pixels resolution. It is Powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor MediaTek MT6735 and comes with massive 3GB RAM and runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. Canvas Mega 4G sports a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and also comes with a 5 megapixel front camera. It comes with 16GB of internal storage that is further expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card. For connectivity Canvas Mega 4G includes - 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, and A-GPS. The device is power backed by a 2500 mAh battery.
