Panasonic Eluga Turbo launched with 3GB RAM and octa-core processor exclusively on Snapdeal at Rs 10999

Panasonic India, on Monday announced the launch of its futuristic and upgradable smartphone Eluga Turbo in the Indian market at Rs. 10,999. The main attraction of the device is its 3GB RAM and Octa Core processing. The Eluga Turbo is exclusively available on online shopping portal Snapdeal through online pre-registrations from 22nd January, 2016 with sales beginning on 27th January, 2016. The device is available in Marine Blue, Champagne Gold and Rose Gold colour variants.

“India’s technology market in 2016 will be focusing on ‘Make in India’ and 4G enabled devices as an innovation-driven economy has led to the expansion of software and services. With the rollout of 4G/LTE telecommunications technology, we have developed new 4G/LTE compatible models across our product range. The objective of Eluga Turbo is to provide consumers with a premium design and performance,” said Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India.

The device features a 5 inch IPS display with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 on the front and Japan based Asahi’s Dragontrail glass on the back. The device is just 6.95 mm sleek. The device is powered by a 1.5GHz 64-bit octa-core processor with 3GB RAM and runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. The Eluga Turbo comes with a 13 megapixels rear camera with LED flash supporting 30fps/Full HD 1080p video recording and a 5 megapixels front camera.
 
For connectivity, Eluga Turbo The Eluga Turbo includes - dual SIM – 4G/3G + 2G, Wi-Fi Hot Spot, Wi-Fi direct, Bluetooth, and Global Positioning System (A-GPS). The device comes with 32GB internal memory that is further expandable up to another 32GB using microSD card.
 
The device is powered by a 2350 mAh battery for longer operations. The Eluga Turbo comes with the FitHome user interface developed exclusively by Panasonic, which permits single thumb-flick access to applications on the home screen.
