Tata launches colour mobile handset for Rs 999

Tata Teleservices Ltd, India’s leading telecom service provider, announced the launch of a new handset- ZTE C332, a color mobile phone priced at Rs. 999.

 

Announcing the launch, Mr. Vineet Bhatia, Circle Operating Officer – Delhi & NCR, Tata Teleservices, said, “This is an extension of our commitment to our customers to offer “the difference” clubbed with the affordability factor. The product is extremely rich with a host of features in a single handset. It has been offered within an affordable bracket for our customers to widen the power of choice amongst the Tata Indicom handset portfolio.”

 

Tata’s latest offering is a thin handset equipped with range of features like- SMS in both Hindi and English, 700kb memory with a capacity to store upto 500X3 phone book entries and 200 SMSs.

 

The phone, which boasts of a large 1.5” color screen, weighs only 70 gm and comes at the price of Rs 999. The handsets are available exclusively on the Tata Indicom network in India.
