TT Bureau |  |  05 Jun 2008

Sun Microsystems India announced a tie-up with NetMagic whereby NetMagic will be Sun’s hosting partner to deliver web-hosting and managed services to Sun’s customers in their Startup Essentials (SSE) program for the Indian market.

According to the company, the tie-up represents the first-ever local partnership for the SSE program in India to offer web-hosting services to Sun’s clients in the country.

Commenting on the alliance with Netmagic, Mr. K.P Unnikrishnan, Director, Marketing, Alliance and Teleweb Sales, Sun Microsystems India said, “In NetMagic we found a perfect fit, not only because they have data centers in India but also considering their world class internet data centers combined with advanced technology and professional service capabilities, to deliver mission critical hosted applications to their customers in a secure and seamless manner.”
