Memorylink sues Motorola for allegedly stealing wireless video technology
TT Bureau |  |  10 Jun 2008

Memorylink Corp., a small wireless broadband technology firm has filed a lawsuit against Motorola charging the firm for stealing its technology for use in handsets like Razr and Moto Q, infringing the company’s rules and regulations.

The lawsuit filed found Motorola guilty of stealing intellectual property of Memeorylink’s invention of wireless video technology. Further the firm stated that Motorola promised a partnership for developing wireless video applications but had never signed a formulated agreement.

Memorylink reasons that it being new to the business didn’t knew much about the agreement as nothing was explained to them by Motorola.

Memorylink through this lawsuit is aiming to seek compensation and retrieval of its intellectual property from Motorola.

However Motorola slammed the charges by saying that the claims made are without any merit and the company has fully followed the agreement with complete compliance.
