BSNL revamps broadband plans for daily benefits to its users

State-owned telecom operator BSNL has revamped its broadband plans. After the revision the plans offer increased daily benefits to its users. The entry-level plan of Rs 99 now offers 1.5GB data per day with the speed of 20MBps. The other plans revised by the service provider offers up to 20GB data per day.

BSNL has also introduced a new combo plan -- BBG Combo ULD 1495 for its new and existing broadband users. As the name reveals the new plan from BSNL comes with the monthly rental of Rs 1,495 and it offers 25GB data per day with the speed of 10Mbps. In case users exhaust the daily limit then the speed will be reduced to 2Mbps.

The new plan is available in all the telecom circles of the operator expect for Andaman and Nicobar. Users also get two free email-IDs and space of 1GB per user with the plan. Along with this, the users also get free and unlimited calling to any network in the country. The free calling is available for both local and STD numbers.

BSNL also has a plans of Rs 1,745 and Rs 2,295 designed for users who have heavy download requirements. Under Rs 1,745 the plan offers 30GB data per day with speed of 16Mbps, while the plan of Rs 2,295 give 35GB data daily at 24Mbps speed. Once the data is exhausted the speed limit will be reduced to 2Mpbs. Along with the data, users also get free national and local calling facility with the plans.

Last month it was reported that BSNL has started working on implementing its 4G services in the country. The service provider also did a soft launch in Idukki district in Kerala for testing. An online report also suggested that the company has also started offering a deal to its existing subscribers who are planning to upgrade to 4G network. The teleco will be offering 2GB of free 4G data to all its users who will upgrade to the new 4G SIM.
