Texas Instruments (TI) Incorporated said it has acquired Innovative Design Solutions (IDS), a company specializing in analog chips and integrated solutions, for its expertise in developing analog chips and integrated solutions.

Based in Florida, IDS has been a long-time supplier to TI. The company designs integrated high-speed analog products for applications such as test and measurement, communications and medical electronics.

The terms as well as value of the deal were not released.
