ICICI Prudential says premium payment thru mobile service a hit with customers

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance ‘s service launched two months back which allows its customers to pay insurance premiums through their mobiles is proving to a hit with the consumers as the company claims that total premia receipt through the mobile has crossed Rs 20 lakh. The company has partnered with mobile payment service provider, mCheck for the project.

 

The company further claimed that its introduction of SMS pull feature, by which a policy holder can get the unit linked, NAV by sending an SMS and stating his policy number, receives over 2 lakh hits every month.
