Sun Microsystems to cut jobs up to 2,500 globally

Following the announcement of more than 1000 job layoffs last week, Sun Microsystems has further proclaimed to continue with additional job cuts by up to 2,500 staff in Europe, Asia and Latin America operations.

 

The global job layoff has been decided among all levels including vice presidents and directors and will expectedly result in saving up US$150 million annually, said the company.
