TT Bureau |  |  14 Jul 2008

Even after the most awaited debut of Apple''s iPhone 3G, consumers in UK were not happy as they had to wait for hours in queue to buy the device.

There was long queue outside Apple, O2 and Carphone Warehouse stores in Britain. O2, faced heavy traffic of consumers due to which the customers at 1300 stores had to wait for hours to buy the 3G iPhone.

Some of the users who came to upgrade the software in their iPhone went disappointed as the system was working slowly. Further, the company website went offline due to excessive pre-order requests of the iPhone.
