Huawei-Symantec, a joint venture formed to develop leading-edge security and storage appliances has entered into a strategic partnership with RMI, a leading provider of high performance data processors and solutions under which the JV will deploy RMI’s multi-core multi-threaded processors for its storage and security devices including SecowayUSG9000 and SecowayUSG6000.

Further the Huawei-Symantec JV announced to launch its first high performance unified security 40G gateway firewall device next year.
