Tag Heuer all set to launch its first mobile phone, the Meridiist

Tag Heuer, a luxury brand for wrist watches is all set to foray into mobile handset market with the launch of its first handset, the Meridiist which recently got approved by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

 

According to the reports this new candybar type handset will contain a metal and leather casing and two displays with 1.9" main display QVGA screen, 2MP camera and Bluetooth support.

 

Reportedly available at a price tag of $5984 the handset has a sapphire coating to protect the body from any scratch.
