Chunghwa Telecom Co Ltd, the largest telecom operator in China (Taiwan), has planned to buy a 7 percent stake in TA Associates International, a private equity firm for 200 million TWD (Taiwan Dollar), reports Commercial Times.

Under the deal, the Taiwan-based company will reportedly be allowed to set up a ubiquitous network at the software technology park in Thu Thiem, Vietnam being developed by TA Associates.
