Shaadi.com with Vodafone ushers Matrimony on mobile phone

Shaadi.com, in a tie-up with cellular service provider Vodafone, launched ‘Shaadi.com on Vodafone’- a matrimonial service on Vodafone mobile phone. The announcement of the first of its kind service in the country comes close on the heels of collaboration between Shaadi.com and Dish TV.

 

Powered by Mauj Mobile, the tie-up will enable Vodafone customers to access Shaadi.com’s matrimonial services on their mobile phones. It will also allow its users to search and view profile details of other members without the need to log on to the Internet. Mobile phone users will be able to browse through profiles, express interest in members, accept/ decline interest sent to them by other members and send personalized messages to prospective matches.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Harit Nagpal, Director – Marketing and New Business, Vodafone Essar, said, “With ‘Shaadi.com on Vodafone’ customers can search for a life partner on the go, on SMS or call; without having to necessarily log on to the net. This is another important service to add value to our customers’ lives.”

 

This service can be accessed by Vodafone customers through a call, SMS or on Vodafone live at the cost of Rs.3/SMS, Rs.6/min and 10p/kb respectively.
