TTML introduces Instachat voice conferencing services
TT Bureau |  |  22 Aug 2008

Tata Teleservices Maharashtra Limited (TTML) and Kodiak Networks have come together to launch Instachat voice conferencing services to post-paid subscribers of Maharashtra and Goa.

According to TTML, it is the first operator in the world to offer such services.

The service enables Tata Indicom users in Maharashtra and Goa to connect to upto 9 different users by click of a single button. The tei-up says the unique feature is possible due to all-IP, standards-based Kodiak Real-time Exchange System.

“Our relationship with TTML signifies the first commercial deployment of advanced voice services for CDMA in India. TTML''s market reach and ability to deliver these services to the diverse subscriber base should make this a very successful endeavor for the company," said Kris Patel, Kodiak Network's Executive Vice-President and CTO.
