AT&T introduces in-home ‘ConnecTech’ service in US

AT&T announced the launch of a nationwide tech support service ‘ConnecTech’ which aims to address all the in-home technology services, from personal computer and home networking setup and repair to home theater installation and remote troubleshooting.

The service will be offered beyond the AT&T''s service area to all 50 states. The company will rope in contractors in those states where AT&T doesn't have a large presence to perform their functions.

The price will start from $69 for PC and home network support by phone and go up to $849 for complicated home theatre installations. The service also offers consumers with setting up of wireless networks, install software, sync iPhones, tackle spam and spyware and perform repairs.
