BSNL-Aksh tie-up launches icontrol IPTV services in rural Rajasthan

BSNL and IPTV service provider, Aksh Optifibre announced the launch of icontrol IPTV services in Kukus of Jaipur district making it the first IPTV service to be launched in any rural area in the country. The tie-up further plans to roll out services in other cities of Rajsthan in about 6-8 weeks.

 

Mr. Siddhartha Behura, Secretary, DoT and Chairman (TC) saidon the occasion of the launch,” It is great initiative of BSNL and AKSH to provide IPTV services to rural and urban cities of Rajasthan. This initiative of BSNL will empower villagers with modern telecom facilities and enable rural masses to have global connectivity and content.”
