People Telecom to launch ADSL2+ services in Australia
TT Bureau |  |  29 Aug 2008

People Telecom said today it has kicked off selling ADSL2+ broadband services based on Telstra network, to its Australian consumers under the brand stamp of People Telecom, following its wholesale deal with Telstra earlier in the month.

Pricing for the service starts at $85 per month for consumers prepared to sign-up for a one or two year ADSL contract. And under the $85 plan, consumers will receive 20GB download allowance split between peak and off peak periods.

Free connection would be offered on ‘selected’ 24-month contracts and prices are liable to increase to $95 per month and $120 per month for services with 40GB and 60GB download allowances, respectively, said People Telecom.

The service can be accessed from all of Telstra''s 900 ADSL2+ exchanges in all major states and across regional areas.
