I&B Ministry to release IPTV guidelines soon

The Information and Broadcasting Ministry will soon undergo the formalities of issuing the final guidelines related to IPTV services in India.

 

The main features of the guidelines have already been made public which includes permitting broadcasters to share their content with IPTV service providers with the change in amendment to downlinking policies and allowing ISPs with more than Rs 100 crore in revenues to offer such services along with telecom operators.
