 Indian telecom major Bharti Airtel and Hewlett-Packard Company (HP) today announced strategic alliance, to encourage penetration of broadband and PC in the country.
As a part of the collaboration, Airtel will provide consumers broadband connection at discounted entry cost on purchase of every HP and Compaq lap top and desktop.
Additionally Airtel will offer consumer-friendly terms that include Zero Security Deposit and Installation fee, free Wi-Fi connection and discounts on Broadband Rental for up to 14 months.
The companies view the move as a key initiative from two industry leaders to bring about further enhance broadband and PC penetration levels in the country
