BSNL ties up with PNB to ease bill payment process for consumers

In an effort to provide more convenience to its subscribers, state-owned BSNL today announced forming an alliance with Punjab National Bank (PNB) whereby the subscribers can pay their bills through ATMs of PNB.

 

Mobile postpaid subscribers can use the 1700 strong ATM network to pay their bills while the services for fixed line subscribers supports 19 major cities presently with an aim to expand it nationwide.

 

"We will extend the service for fixed line customers throughout the country shortly," said BSNL CMD Kuldeep Goyal.

 

“It is a milestone for the PSU and the IT teams of BSNL, and PNB made this concept a reality within a record time of 15 days," PNB CMD K C Chakrabarty said.
